THE MAGICL LEAPING LIZARD POTION BY MARSHA CASPER COOK
REVIEW BY KAREN VAUGHAN
Isabella Pimpinella is a junior witch. Tonight is the night that she and the other junior witches make their magical leaping lizards potion so they can fly. Along with the help of her dog Milly Van Dilly the witches pour out the ingredients while chanting for the potion to work. Suddenly it is ready and the girls chug it back and take to the skies.
This a great story for Halloween. Kids will love the poems and chants. It is most suitable for children in grades 1 or 2 and I recommend this as a fun read. I give it 5 green lizards.

NO CLUES NO SHOES BY MARSHA CASPER COOK
REVIEW BY KAREN VAUGHAN
Emelina and Addison are new friends. Emelina talks too much but wants to be a private detective. She and Addison are attending library day when another kid in the group announces that his shoe has been stolen. Emelina, Addison and her dog Stanley are on the case. They search the lost and found without any luck. They search the park and find what they were looking for and a whole lot more. They also find the culprit of this crime.
The story is aimed at 3-7 year olds and is great for detective wannnabes. Emelina is larger than life and a lot of fun. It was a fun little read and I recommend it for children in grades 1 or 2. I give this story 5 blue shoes.

SNACK ATTACK BY MARSHA CASPER COOK
REVIEW BY KAREN VAUGHAN
Addison Apple hate oatmeal. He would rather eat chocolate and other goodies all day long.
His mom allows him to feed himself whatever he wants. After chowing down on various kinds of junk food he gets sick and realizes that oatmeal is okay after all and that mom is right about healthy food.
This is a great story for picky kids to learn too much of a good thing isn’t that great. It is written from a kids point of view and is suitable for primary school students. I will recommend this to parents with kids from four and older. I give this 5 chocolate chip cookies.
